Job Overview

A leading Global Contact Centre is seeking to employ SALES Customer Service Consultants. With stunning, state of the art offices in the City Centre. The company has a wonderful employee centric culture where they understand the value of a happy team and are eager to see their staff develop.

This role involves managing and exceeding sales of insurance policies within new and existing markets with a combination of providing excellent customer service. It would involve managing inbound and outbound calls for customers to handle sales and service of high standards.

POSITION: SALES Customer Service Consultant

Salary: R 7 500.00 + Medical Aid/Pension/Performance bonus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Location: CBD, Cape Town

1-2 years of experience in insurance, sales & service, handling voice and queries, etc.

Duties:

  • Handle all customer inquiries verbally and in writing
  • Identify customer needs to provide quality service
  • Manage and resolve customer service queries and complaints
  • Provide customers with accurate information on the products and services
  • Update existing customer information
  • Assist with claim queries
  • Investigate, resolve and process high volumes of customer enquiries to deliver quality customer service
  • Maintain policies and change details as needed
  • Maintain accuracy of customer data
  • Handle customer concerns and objections
  • Adhere to underwriting guidelines
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines when conducting business with customers
  • Follow best practice procedures
  • Participate in weekly and monthly coaching
  • Escalate calls

Requirements:

  • Neutral English Accent (Strong command of English)
  • Experience dealing with Insurance customers (Advantageous)
  • Ability to work rotational shifts
  • Matric (Non Negotiable)
  • ITC and Criminal Clear
  • Typing 25+ wpm
  • 12 Months+ Sales/Customer Service Experience Required (Call Centre or Retail)
  • Good computer skills, Target Driven, Hungry for Learning and Energetic
  • Insurance Knowledge a bonus
