Black Pen Recruitment is looking for a Senior Recruitment consultant/Headhunter for high-end position to join our team in Cape Town.

You’re perfect for this position if you:

  • You have 3 years work experience in Recruitment
  • Strong sales background
  • Have an excellent command of the English language and good writing skills
  • Strong marketing skills and social media skills (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Strong network skills
  • Have an excellent phone manner and the ability to engage professionally with international clients
  • Are comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and answering a high volume of queries
  • Are organised and have good time management skills
  • Are target-driven
  • Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Are a team-player
  • Are a proven self-starter with good commercial awareness
  • Are computer literate, particularly in MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Your roles and responsibilities


  • Superior closing skills.
  • 4 years experience in recruiting higher position (Finance, Tech- recruitment, Marketing and Manager Positions)
  • Very strong headhunting skills
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
  • 4 years of Sales (Outbound sales experience)
  • Driven and hungry for money
  • Exceptional customer service and telesales skills
  • Fully computer literate (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Analytical and Problem Solving competence: Ability to analyse and interpret information accurately.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders within and outside the organisation
  • Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement.
  • Accountable: Professional approach to quality, time, costs and deadlines.
  • Ambitious: Committed to constantly learning and adding value.
  • Proactive: An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
  • Adaptable: Responsive to changing business needs and critical last minute deadlines.
